After surfacing following long submarine patrols, Dave would occasionally hit golf balls off of the deck of the submarine. Following the US Navy, he applied his navy nuclear experience to technical sales for such companies as E.G&G and Johnson & Johnson where he held National Sales Manager positions. Technical sales eventually evolved into medical products sales of MRI, Positron Emission Spectroscopy, and X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy and lastly software and hardware sales for the current information technology marketplace. After many years in the Sales and Marketing arena, Dave pursued his passion for golf and eventually became the Director of Golf Instruction at the O’Brien’s Golf Center in Bellevue, WA. Every year you will find Dave helping the PNW PGA and the NCAA golf tournaments in the Seattle area, as well as participating in local tournaments. He started up The First Tee Golf program for children in Bellevue, WA. Currently, Dave is involved with creating and publishing online videos of his many golf tips. Dave has lived in Bellevue, WA since 1978 with his wife Barbara. Their daughter, Anne, lives in Renton after graduating from Western Washington. Their son, Erik, recently graduated from the University of Oregon.
